Does this sound familiar?
Most students are never actually taught how to study. They work hard, but not in a way that pays off.
- Hours at the desk, not much to show for it
- The phone wins every time
- Studies in bursts, then nothing for a week
- Rereads notes, still forgets them
What happens over the three days?
Each day builds on the last, with a short homework task in between.
Concentrate
How to focus properly, in class and at home. Proven strategies to get the most out of your brain when studying, and breaks that actually recharge.
Study consistently
How much study is enough, a realistic weekly plan built around their life, and simple rules that make it stick.
Study methods
Step-by-step guides for every part of studying, from making notes to understanding, memorising and answering questions. Everything explained clearly.

Hi, I'm Ronan
I underperformed in my Junior Cycle, then changed how I studied and got 625 points in the Leaving Cert, without grinds. I have a degree in Psychology from UCD.
Since 2022 I've taught students how to study properly, including many with dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD and exam anxiety.
“Ronan really spent the time going through study and revision techniques as well as some good tips for mindset, procrastination and dealing with stress. Lovely presence.”
“Ronan has excellent time keeping and a good rapport with my student.”
“My son had Ronan as a tutor for all subjects before the Junior Cert. Ronan was excellent, his treatment of Jacob as a person and a student was above and beyond.”
“I found the TTL course and Ronan very helpful. Before starting the course I didn’t know where to start with my study, didn’t know what methods to use or anything, but Ronan helped me so much.”
